Dr. KS Bhoon

Dr. Bhoon is an ex-Army veteran and an engineer turned corporate leader, who served the country honourably for over 3 decades. During his service in the Army he held many strategic and tactical appointments in the Field as well at Army Headquarters. After retiring from the Army in 2002 as Brigadier, the same year he began his journey in the corporate world with the same modus operandi and ethos of the Indian Army but in a different environment.

His first tenure began as Director of Indian multinational automobile manufacturer Ashok Leyland, where he trained and developed a number of young aspirants to lead India's manufacturing industry. He later joined the ACC group and held various roles including Head Training and Development, Chief People Officer and finally Head Organizational Performance Excellence role. His tenure at ACC has proven to be the backbone of the organization's talent pipeline. He devised and implemented Campus Recruitment recruiting Engineers, Technicians and Operators by sourcing rural youths from across every corner of the country. As a result, the organization saw a 27% reduction in people cost, increase of internal promotions from 45% to 70%, decrease of Attrition rate from 29% to 13% and increased profitability by more than 100%.

He did his M.Tech from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, specializing in Industrial Engineering. As part of a project he developed a software simulator for the Indian railway Rail Coach factory in Kapurthala. He later completed his PhD form IIT Delhi by specialising in Supply Chain Management, Automotive Supply Chains, and Construction Industry Supply Chains. He is also an Alumni of Prestigious Defence Services Staff College Wellington, an incubator of all Army top Brass including the Chief

Dr. Bhoon is an avid reader who loves to read books during his leisure time. He likes to spend majority of his time in ideating and helping the growth of young aspirants by sharing his wealth of knowledge and guidance to help develop and achieve their aspirations. His motto of his life was always to become the role model and a source of inspiration to the next generation who will have values, principles and skills essential for success. He is also quite tech savvy and active on social media where he is vocal about current affairs and personal development.
